Connection, Collaboration & Community

I believe we are never meant to navigate life completely on our own. Connection matters, and sometimes the most meaningful support comes from having a team of people who can walk alongside us in different ways.

As a therapist, I also recognize that I cannot be everything to everyone. Each person brings their own story, needs, and circumstances, and sometimes another therapist, practitioner, or organization may offer a better fit or a valuable complement to the work we do together.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of connecting with many compassionate professionals and organizations committed to supporting people in our community. I value these relationships and the opportunity to collaborate, learn from one another, and connect clients with resources that may best support their individual needs.

I am especially grateful to share my office space with Donna Astley-Reed and Melody Oliver. Both are wonderful, caring professionals, and I feel fortunate to have them as part of the supportive community surrounding my practice. I encourage my clients to reach out to Donna or Melody for support when I am away, knowing they are in good hands. Having trusted colleagues nearby adds an extra layer of connection and support for my clients, and I am grateful to offer that continuity when I am not available.

This page is a collection of professionals and organizations I trust and am grateful to have within my growing network of community connections. My hope is that it makes finding additional support feel a little easier—and reminds you that you don't have to figure everything out on your own.

Donna Astley-Reed

Picture
Donna Astley-Reed is a Canadian Certified Counsellor with over six years of counselling experience and more than a decade of supporting individuals and families through challenging, complex circumstances. She is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming space where people feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported.

Donna works with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, overwhelm, burnout, life transitions, and the challenges that can come with balancing the many demands of everyday life. She is EMDR-trained and draws on a variety of approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), person-centred, strengths-based, and solution-focused practices, tailoring counselling to the individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

At the heart of Donna’s work is a belief that people are doing the best they can with what they know and have available to them. She values connection, compassion, authenticity, and helping clients better understand themselves while discovering practical ways to move toward the life they want.

Donna offers adult counselling both virtually and in person, with evening appointments available.
